My experience with Cliff was incredible! I had an upper receiver with a 10.3" barrel that I wanted swapped for a 14.5," and a muzzle device pinned and welded. He was very helpful in offering information to consider for caliber, barrel length, shootability (especially being a lefty), range/accuracy, etc., and we had a game plan in the same day I brought it in. I had expected a fairly long wait time, but it was done within a few days of dropping it off.While other gunsmiths often nickel and dime their customers to death with small charges, Lone Star Gunsmithing and Cerakote does not do that. All charges were laid out plainly and were very fair. I will definitely be contacting this place again in the future!

Cliff did an amazing job on 3 different rifles for me .One he did some smith work. One had major corrosion. He was able to clean it up and get it back to almost new condition. One was just very old and needed a deep clean . He completely disassembled all 3 guns and they looked incredible when done. He did a black Cerakote finish on one of them. I am extremely pleased with the results . He was very knowledgeable on all three guns . I would absolutely recommend him for all your gunsmith or Cerakote needs .
